Launch House, a community-oriented startup with a brand built around launching ideas out loud, is embroiled in a scandal after a Vox investigation uncovered multiple sexual assault and harassment allegations.

Existing investors in the startup and its venture fund have made public statements in support of the alleged victims and in condemnation of the alleged behaviour described by Vox in its article about Launch House. Meanwhile, Launch House confirmed to TechCrunch via spokeswoman that it has retained a law firm to conduct an independent, third-party investigation. In response to the allegations, CEO Brett Goldstein issued a public memo earlier this week.
