Anyone applying for a residence visa in Dubai can now get their medical fitness results in 30 minutes and their digital visa in 90 minutes.
This will be possible at the Dubai International Financial Centre’s (DIFC) Smart Salem centre for medical fitness and residence visa processing, which was inaugurated by Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance of the UAE. This is the city’s second Smart Salem facility. The first, which opened in 2020, is in City Walk. A third centre, also offering 30-minute screening, is expected to open soon in the TECOM area.
