Zomato plans to expand its Intercity Legends services across top Indian cities over the next three months. In addition, the startup will add more restaurants to its platform in order to scale its novel food delivery services.

“There is a lot of clarity. “We want to be in all top cities in the next three months,” said Siddharth Jhawar, Zomato’s head of Intercity Legends. Zomato’s Intercity Legends service was previously launched in Delhi and is now available in Bengaluru as well. “It’s festival season. People are in for a treat as Diwali and the New Year approach. We want to be present in top cities by festival time; after that, we want to take a step back and see what the next approach is,” Jhawar said. To date, Zomato has added 120 food restaurants from 10 cities.
