Restaurant-focused full stack SaaS startup Explorex raised $5 million seed led by Super Angel’s Taher Savliwala, Twitch cofounder Kevin Lin, Fitbit CEO James Park, Oura’s Harpreet Rai and Relationship hero cofounder Liron Shapira.
Explorex is a business-to-business SaaS startup that helps restaurants digitise their operations. The funding will be used by the startup to accelerate product development and scale up growth-related initiatives. Explorex will also use the funds to expand in major cities such as Mumbai and Delhi. Explorex currently operates in over 15 cities and serves over 100 customers, including Bengaluru-based pubs Levitate and Loft38. According to an Inc42 report, in the third quarter (Q3) of the calendar year 2022, enterprisetech startups raised $423.5 Mn in 58 funding deals (CY22). Between 2014 and Q3 2022, the Indian enterprisetech domain saw startups raise $11.8 billion in 1,440 deals.
