ONDC to Launch UP-ODOP Products in Bengaluru Next Week

The Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC), the government’s ambitious ecommerce project, will bring UP One District One Product (UP-ODOP) products to Bengaluru in the coming week, according to T Koshy, the project’s chief executive.

The ONDC CEO also announced in his LinkedIn post that D2C logistics unicorn Shiprocket is now live on the government’s digital commerce project. Buyer apps Craftsvilla, Mystore, and Spice Money will bring UP-ODOP products to Bengaluru starting next week. ONDC CEO T Koshy stated, “Shiprocket has gone live on the ONDC network, making intercity delivery a reality in ONDC.” Koshy also stated that ONDC is in the process of integrating Ekart Logistics, the logistics arm of ecommerce giant Flipkart, to supplement intercity deliveries.
