Online food aggregator Zomato to close all of its overseas operations. Additionally, Zomato has ended its direct-to-consumer (D2C) experiment with nutritional supplements.
After closing the rest of its international operations last year, Zomato stated in a release, “We are also closing our operations in Lebanon, which is the only international business we were left with (aside from dining-out business in UAE). According to the press release, Zomato’s core food-related businesses—dining out, food ordering and delivery, and hyperpure (B2B supplies for restaurants)—will continue to be its main value generators over the coming years.
