WhatsApp’s India head Abhijit Bose and Meta India’s director of public policy Rajiv Aggarwal resigned from their respective positions, Meta said in a statement.

The director of public policy for all Meta brands in India, including Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp, has been named Shivnath Thukral, director of public policy at WhatsApp India. Meta recently announced a global headcount reduction of 13% that would affect more than 11,000 employees. Ajit Mohan, the head of Meta India, resigned earlier this month; the most prominent departures from Meta India happened weeks later.
