Edtech startup Skill-Lync acquired online learning platform Crio for an undisclosed amount. According to the startup, the acquisition will allow Skill-Lync to expand its offerings in the online education space.
Crio is a platform for hands-on learning in the field of technology. Working on real-world projects allows students and professionals to gain practical skills. Following the acquisition, the founders will continue to focus on and run Crio’s business, while also expanding its market leadership. Following the acquisition, Crio will operate as an independent company within the Skill-Lync Group. In the next two to three years, both startups hope to employ more than 25000 students.
