Deepika Padukone’s d2C personal care startup 82°E raising $7.5 million in seed from DSG Consumer Partners and IDEO Ventures where multiple ultra-high net worth individuals (UHNIs) and Padukone’s family office also participated.

The funds are currently being used to build the brand’s team, expand research and development (R&D), and launch new products. It has an R&D lab in Bengaluru to formulate products in-house. The personal care startup has so far released two products and intends to release more in the future.
