Twitter CEO Musk launched a poll on the social media platform asking whether he should step down as CEO, adding that he would follow the poll results.

Nearly 12 million users had voted in the poll, with 56.3% in favour of him stepping down and about five hours left before it closed on Monday. The billionaire did not specify when he would step down if the poll results indicated that he should. In response to a Twitter user’s question about a possible change in CEO, Musk stated, “There is no successor.”
