Indians accounted for 5% of global mobile app downloads

According to the report, India ranked second in terms of overall app downloads during the year, trailing only China. In terms of time spent on mobile phones, India ranked eighth on the global chart, with an average usage per day per consumer of 4.9 hours. In terms of average daily usage, India was tied for sixth place with Australia and Mexico, trailing Indonesia, Brazil, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, and South Korea, all of which had average daily usage of 5 hours or more. According to Inc42’s ‘Indian Tech Startup Funding Report 2022,’ India will have more than 1.3 billion internet users by 2030, with Indians spending an average of 4.7 hours per day on mobile.
