Netflix faces global outage, prompting Indian users to take to Twitter to express their displeasure

Netflix experienced an outage on Thursday. Several users, including Indian subscribers, took to Twitter to express their dissatisfaction with the outage.

While there were approximately 2,000 reports on Downdetector, approximately 55% of users reported problems with the website. According to the website, the problem began around 12 p.m. IST. Downdetector reports real-time outages and other problems. However, neither Netflix’s website nor its social media channels have mentioned the outage. Netflix, which operates in over 190 countries, added approximately 7.6 million subscribers in the fourth quarter of 2022 and now has over 200 million subscribers worldwide.
