Oyo founder Ritesh Agarwal’s father dies after falling from 20th floor

On Wednesday, the 9th of March, it was reported that Ritesh Agarwal’s father, Jay Agarwal, died after falling from the 20th floor of a hotel in New Delhi. Ritesh Agarwal is the founder and CEO of Oyo Rooms, a hospitality company that has grown rapidly in the past few years.

According to reports, Jay Agarwal had checked into the hotel on Tuesday and was staying in room 1965 on the 20th floor. The incident took place on Wednesday morning when he fell from his room and sustained serious injuries. He was rushed to the hospital immediately but succumbed to his injuries and passed away.

The police were informed about the incident and an investigation has been launched to determine the cause of the fall. The police have not yet released any information on the matter, but sources say that there is no suspicion of foul play at this time.
