An IDC study commissioned by Microsoft projected that GenAI will add nearly $10 Tn to global GDP over the next 10 years

With The AI Connect, Inc42 aims to empower startups so that they can stay ahead of the curve, anticipate future developments and prepare for the next wave of AI

The event is designed to provide an ideal platform for networking and fostering open discussions among like-minded peers within the tech community

As discussions around ‘Responsible AI’ and ‘Ethical AI’ heat up, Inc42 has joined forces with the tech giant Microsoft to host ‘The AI Connect’ — an invite-only event in Delhi on May 15th.

With The AI Connect, Inc42 aims to empower startups so that they can stay ahead of the curve, anticipate future developments and prepare for the next wave of AI.

Notably, Microsoft has created six key principles for responsible AI: Accountability, inclusiveness, reliability & safety, fairness, transparency and privacy & security. These principles, according to Microsoft, are crucial for building trustworthy AI as the technology becomes mainstream.

The event will convene over 12 founders across diverse sectors such as fintech, ecommerce, logistics and more for discussions on building responsible AI solutions that benefit humanity. It is designed to provide an ideal platform for networking and fostering open discussions among like-minded peers within the tech community.

It is imperative to highlight that developing responsible and ethical AI solutions is no longer a choice, it is a necessity to ensure customer trust, safeguard businesses from regulatory risks and ensure compliance.

Last month, recognising the importance of growing conversations around GenAI, Inc42 partnered with Microsoft to host the GenAI Summit in Bengaluru.

The summit convened over 40 leading tech minds as speakers and 350+ attendees for a day dedicated to exploring GenAI’s workplace impact, optimal business adoption strategies and the ethical guardrails shaping its future.

GenAI is poised to be the most significant AI breakthrough of the decade. And its impact on businesses, from marketing and content creation to employee efficiency, is truly remarkable. So much so that an IDC study commissioned by Microsoft projected that GenAI will add nearly $10 Tn to global GDP over the next 10 years.

The World Economic Forum (WEF) predicts that new technologies will disrupt 85 Mn jobs globally between 2020 and 2025 while creating 97 Mn new roles. As AI enters the workforce, ethical considerations will be paramount for business growth.
