LTTS: LTTS wins project to build US state Colorado’s smart cities

Mid-sized Indian IT services company L&T Technology Services (LTTS) on Monday announced a strategic partnership with the Colorado Smart Cities Alliance (CSCA) to build smart city development projects across the state of Colorado integrating innovation and technology.

The financial details of the deal was not disclosed.

“The collaboration will leverage LTTS’ cutting-edge engineering expertise to advance CSCA’s mission of fostering smart city solutions that improve urban living and create sustainable ecosystems. Through the collaboration of resources and expertise, both organisations aim to foster sustainable, efficient, and technologically advanced communities,” LTTS said in a regulatory filing.

Gujarat-headquartered LTTS has also built experience of smart government projects in the USA, India and the Middle East with its internet of things (IoT) offerings to enhance city operations, providing security solutions, citywide surveillance, and border security systems. These initiatives, LTTS said, optimise resource utilisation and promote inter-departmental collaboration, driving operational efficiency.

“The collaboration with Colorado Smart Cities Alliance marks a significant advancement in our commitment to driving technological innovations that improve urban living. By leveraging our combined expertise and resources, we aim to develop and implement cutting-edge solutions across Mobility, Sustainability and Tech that enhance efficiency, sustainability, and quality of life in urban environments,” said Abhishek Sinha, executive director & president – medical, smart world & functions, LTTS.
