Google announced on Monday that it will be accepting applications for the seventh batch of its startup accelerator programme in India, which aims to nurture startups looking to capitalise on the potential of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).
The Google for Startups Accelerator (GFSA) is a three-month, equity-free accelerator programme in India for Seed to Series A tech startups. It has thus far aided in the acceleration of the growth journeys of over 130 startups in India.
Google is looking for startups that are focused on utilising the transformational technologies AI and ML in the next batch.
Startups based in India and working in various sectors that use or plan to use AI/ML or data are eligible to apply. According to Google, they should ideally be between the Seed and Series A stages.
The chosen startups will be mentored and supported in the areas of AI/ML, Cloud, UX, Android, web, product strategy, and growth.
In addition to mentorship and technical project support, the accelerator offers deep dives and workshops on product design, customer acquisition, and the development of founders’ leadership.
