The social media world is abuzz with the prospect of a face-off between two tech giants, Mark Zuckerberg and Elon Musk. Since June, the CEOs of Facebook and X (formerly known as Tesla) have been playfully bantering about the idea of a cage fight, initially proposed by a random Twitter user.
Elon Musk sparked the playful feud when he wrote on June 20 that he was “up for a cage match” if Zuckerberg was willing to participate. Zuckerberg quickly responded with enthusiasm, challenging Musk to “send me location.”
Recently, on his platform Threads, Mark Zuckerberg declared himself “ready today” for the bout and claimed to have proposed August 26 as the fight date when Musk initially issued the challenge. However, there has been no official confirmation from Elon Musk, leaving the potential fight in limbo.
Adding to the intrigue, Musk announced that if the fight were to happen, it would be live-streamed on X, with all proceeds going to charity for veterans. Nevertheless, Zuckerberg raised concerns about using a more reliable platform to ensure effective fundraising for the charity.
As of now, the two tech moguls have not settled on a confirmed date or platform for the possible showdown. While the playful exchange has entertained their followers, the prospect of a Zuckerberg-Musk cage fight remains uncertain, leaving the world eagerly awaiting any updates on this intriguing spectacle.
