While everyone is waiting for the much-anticipated Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) to go live, the government has asked the network to develop a robust grievance redressal system.
According to a Business Standard report, the government directed that the grievance redressal system be on par with that of major ecommerce companies. Furthermore, the network must develop this redressal system before launching it to a limited number of public users. A strategy will be devised and submitted to the government by September end, according to a government official quoted in the report, while the team is developing a detailed plan to build trust in the network before it is made available to the public.
