Saudi Post (SPL) acquired NAQEL Express, a leading domestic logistics supply chain solutions provider. SPL made the acquisition through its logistics arm – Saudi Post and Logistic Services Company.

According to the company, the move aims to make SPL a modern and integrated logistic service company for commerce and digital governance in the country. It aims to be the national operator for post and logistics services as part of its strategy to become the market leader by establishing a comprehensive work system with global competitive value. SPL President Anef Abanomi stated that the move is part of SPL’s ambitious strategy to strengthen SPL’s position as a national market operator.
