The Digital News Publishers Association (DNPA) has launched the first edition of DNPA Dialogues.

The DNPA meeting will feature a discussion among key digital media players about emerging changes in Big Tech and their antitrust practises, potential safeguard mechanisms for news organisations, and their relationship with big tech companies. The meeting is scheduled for tomorrow. The meeting will discuss ways to create better, more equitable, and fruitful partnerships with tech titans such as Google, Meta, Twitter, and others. Rod Sims, an Australian economist and former head of Australia’s competition watchdog, will be the event’s keynote speaker. The self-regulatory industry body was established in 2018 to define, create, and foster the country’s digital news ecosystem.
