Egypt-based Suplyd raised $1.6 million pre-seed funding from Endure Capital

Suplyd, a procurement platform for hotels, restaurants and catering (HoReCa) businesses in Egypt, raised $1.6 million pre-seed funding from Endure Capital, Seedstars, Camel Ventures, Falak Startups, and a number of angel investors.

By enabling digital order procurement, payment, and fulfilment, Suplyd’s B2B platform improves supply chain operations for businesses in the food service industry. Restaurants can access a wide range of products on demand via its platform, saving them man hours spent sourcing goods offline. It also ensures that businesses acquire goods at reasonable prices. Suplyd intends to use the new funds to scale its technology and expand within and beyond Cairo, as well as to investigate other growth opportunities in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region in the near future.
