Sara the Saudi robot has been greeting visitors to LEAP23 in Arabic. Sara, according to the Saudi Press Agency, is the first robot to use the Saudi dialect.

Sara has been greeting visitors to the Kingdom’s Digital Pavilion at Riyadh’s LEAP23 conference. LEAP23 is being held at the Riyadh Exhibition and Convention Centre, and the Kingdom has seen massive investment in the technology sector. On the first day of the LEAP23 event, more than $9 billion in technology investments were announced, but Sara is drawing attention away from the big money deals.
