Flipkart to acquire Bengaluru-based online pharmacy startup Pharmallama

Share via:

Flipkart is reportedly close to acquiring Bengaluru-based online pharmacy startup Pharmallama, which is run by its parent company Mera Dawai Pvt Ltd.

Pharmallama operates a mobile app that provides medication delivery to customers’ homes. Pharmallama delivers medications after a customer uploads a prescription to the company’s app. The medicines are then packaged in various presorted parcels arranged by date, time, and dosages. Once the startup confirms the medications with customers, they are delivered. If the deal goes through, Pharmallama will be Flipkart’s second acquisition in the epharmacy space, following the November 2021 acquisition of Kolkata-based healthtech startup SastaSundar Marketplace.
