A day after hundreds of Twitter employees decided to resign, CEO Elon Musk issued an urgent call to the company’s employees: “Anyone who writes software, please report to the 10th floor at 2 p.m. today.”

Musk asked software engineers to fly to San Francisco and visit the Twitter office in person in an email. According to Bloomberg, Musk added that only those who are unable to physically travel to the Bay Area or have family emergencies will be excused from attending. The engineers were asked to send a bullet-point summary of their coding accomplishments over the last six months, as well as up to ten screenshots of the most important lines of code. Musk stated that the meetings will be brief in order for him to “understand the Twitter tech stack.”
