Apple launches iPhone 16 in 21 additional countries this Friday

Apple announced the iPhone 16 earlier this year, and the new phones hit stores in more than 50 countries, including the US, Canada and Japan last Friday, September 20. Now Apple is bringing iPhone 16 to 21 additional countries starting this Friday.

iPhone 16 now available in more countries

Pre-orders for the iPhone 16 began on September 13 in regions such as the US, Canada, Australia, China, France, India, Japan, Mexico, and the UK, while the official launch took place on September 20. On the same day, Apple opened pre-orders in more than 20 other countries. Now, these countries will also have the new iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro available in stores.

The list of countries getting the iPhone 16 today includes Brazil, Georgia, Macao, and Vietnam. Of course, prices vary for each country. Along with the new iPhones, Apple is also launching new accessories in these countries.

One of the main highlights of the iPhone 16 line is the new Camera Control, a touch-sensitive button that lets you control camera settings such as switching between lenses and zoom levels. The devices also feature the A18 chip, which is more powerful and designed to run Apple Intelligence features. In the Pro lineup, Apple has increased the screen sizes and also the battery.

In the US, prices for the iPhone 16 start at $799, while the iPhone 16 Pro starts at $999.
