Signal-based trading and investment startup Investmint raised $2 million in seed led by Nexus Venture Partners. The new funding will be used to expand the startup’s product, engineering, and quantitative research teams.

Investmint’s mission is to democratise data-driven, do-it-yourself investing for retail investors in equity and other exchange-traded asset classes. The Investmint trading and investing app, which is currently in open Beta with early adopters, will be widely released in the coming weeks.
